Rabbits use their long hind legs to jump high and fast.
Because their hind legs are longer than their front legs,
they can run quickly uphill, but not downhill. On flat ground,
they use their long hind legs to accelerate and change direction very well.
They retain their wild habits of digging burrows and gnawing on branches and bark,
so it is not uncommon to see them digging or gnawing on something.
